Demiboy Pride Flag
A demiboy is someone who partially, but not wholly, identifies as a boy or man, regardless of their assigned gender at birth. This identity exists within the broader spectrum of gender identities and acknowledges that gender can be fluid and multifaceted. Demiboys may feel a strong connection to masculinity, but not to the extent of identifying fully as male. This identity allows for a personal and unique experience of gender, where individuals may also identify with other gender identities or none at all. The demiboy identity is an important part of the non-binary community, offering a space for those who feel a partial connection to male identity while embracing the diversity of gender expression.
The Demiboy Pride Flag consists of five horizontal stripes, each with its own significance. The top and bottom stripes are light gray, symbolizing partial connection and the fluidity of gender. The two light blue stripes adjacent to the gray represent a connection to masculinity and traditional male identity, acknowledging the demiboy’s partial identification with being a boy. The central white stripe signifies gender neutrality and the non-binary nature of the identity, highlighting the inclusivity and diversity within the demiboy experience. Together, these colors and their arrangement reflect the unique and personal journey of those who identify as demiboys, celebrating their place within the broader spectrum of gender identities.
