On June 6th from 8 PM to midnight at Crosstown Theater, we’re throwing it back with retro beats, bold looks, and a whole lot of queer joy. Whether you’re voguing under the disco lights or just soaking in the energy, this night is all about community, expression, and movement—on the dance floor and beyond. Come as you are, dress up if you dare, and be part of a celebration where every beat tells a story.
Drag N Drive
Memphis Pride Fest Weekend officially kicks off at the iconic Summer Drive-In with Drag N Drive, an event that sets the tone for the celebrations ahead with an emotionally charged evening of camaraderie, creativity, and community spirit. This unique evening is more than just a night at the movies; it’s a profound experience that combines storytelling through drag with the vintage charm of drive-in cinema.
The Pride Festival
From a tradition spanning nearly a half-century, the Memphis Pride Festival has evolved from a modest picnic to a regional highlight, attracting over 60,000 attendees. It features over 175+ vendors and exhibitors, a grand Pride parade, two stages with live entertainment including headliners, local musicians, drag artists, special guest speakers, VIP experiences, educational sessions, a kids’ area, and interactive activities, embodying a spirit of unity and diversity in the heart of Memphis.
The Pride Parade
The annual Memphis Pride Parade draws a massive audience and offers a production like no other. The Parade Steps off at 4th and Beale and makes its way through the historic Beale Street Entertainment District. The procession features over 110 units with 2,500+ participants of all ages and backgrounds including church groups, performing arts groups, museums, high school & college groups, senior groups, non-profit organizations, city & county leaders, local businesses, and corporate brands. Top that off with a sea of allies and guests and you have an electric celebration that brings people together in a dazzling display of creativity and pride. The parade route comes alive with music, cheers, and the unmistakable energy of a community sharing its unique stories and passions. It’s a moment where every participant and spectator contributes to an unforgettable experience, leaving lasting memories in the heart of Memphis.
