It is the summer and it will be hot. Please take the necessary precautions for you, your kids, and your pets to be sure you don’t overheat. Also, keep pets on a leash and be sure to clean up behind them.
The law protects the right to free speech in public spaces, and since the parade is free to the public, protesters are within their rights to demonstrate and express themselves during the celebration. However, Engaging with protesters can trigger aggression and escalate tensions, which puts everyone’s safety at risk. Please be courteous to your fellow pride-goers by not engaging with protesters.
Booth setup starts on Friday from 3 – 5 pm, you may drop off all your stuff and come back for set up on Saturday. We have security that will be there all day and night. The park has been enclosed with a fence for security as well, but we are not liable for anything you leave in the park.
On Friday afternoon we will place the tables, tents, and chairs that you ordered in your booth spot(s) to prepare for Saturday. We will also drop off some trash bags. Booths have been marked out and numbered.
Booth breakdown starts at 5 pm and ends by 7 pm. All booths must pick up their trash and take it to the dumpster before leaving.
